LYS-50 Micropearls®

What is LYS-50?

LYS-50 is a rumen protected source of the amino acid lysine, encapsulated using the unique Micropearls® process. L-lysine is protected with a vegetable oil carrier using a patented spray freezing process. This protects the amino acid from rumen breakdown, allowing it to be more efficiently utilised further down the digestive tract.

Typical Analysis

LYS-50 typically contains 50% L-lysine monohydrochloride.

Usage guidelines

Dairy cows – 35-45g/cow/day, equivalent to 3-5kg LYS-50/tonne feed.
