Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals

REACH is the biggest regulatory change ever to hit the chemical industry. The EU Parliament and Commission adopted the REACH regulations and they came into force on 1st June 2007. The progressively more demanding implementation programme has commenced. Chance & Hunt and its partners in the Azelis group are at the forefront of organisations preparing for it. The need for more detailed dialogue with our suppliers and customers will increase as we move toward the pre-registration and registration deadlines. To aid a wider understanding of the implications of these regulations for both the chemical industry and its many customers we have produced a guidance brochure which we are pleased to share with all interested parties.
